The Dark Knight Rises European Premiere

I went to London for the European premiere of the latest Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises". The movies stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Marion Cotillard and Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Christian Bale signed my poster of "The Dark Knight Rises" and posed for a picture. Well, it is certainly not my best picture ever, but as Christian is not that keen on taking pictures I shouldn't complain.
Chirstopher Nolan, Tom Hardy and Marion Cotillard also signed my poster of "The Dark Knight Rises" which was previously signed by Gary Oldman. At the premiere Noomi Rapace and Guy Ritchie were guests. Noomi Rapace signed my poster of "Prometheus" and Guy Ritchie signed my poster of "Rock'NRolla" and thanks to Roy "Sherlock Holmes 2".

John Hannah @ Soho Hotel

John Hannah is mostly known for his part in all three movies of "The Mummy". Besides this trilogy he is also known for "Four Weddings & A Funeral" and the TV-series "Spartacus". When I met him him at the Soho Hotel he signed my posters of "Spartacus" and "The Mummy :Tomb Of The Dragon Emperor". He was also willing to pose for a picture.

Time To Move On!

When I found out an international movie would be (partially) shot in The Netherlands, I was interested inmediately. When I found out the lead was going to the Mads Mikkelsen (Casino Royale, King Arthur, The Three Musketeers, Clash Of The Titans, Hannibal TV-series) I just had to be there. I found a way to be an extra on set and by doing this I experienced a day of shooting an international movie... (and ofcourse I was able to meet Mads Mikkelsen and the director Asger Leth!)

Mads Mikkelsen signed my posters of "Clash Of The Titans" and "The Three Musketeers" as well as my Blu-Ray covers of "Valhalla Rising" and "Casino Royale" and my DVD-cover of "After The Wedding". The friendly guy didn't have any problems with posing for a picture!
 Asger Leth is also the director of the movie "Man On A Ledge". Therefor he signed my poster of "Man On A Ledge" and posed for a picture.

Gross und Klein

This month Rene and myself went to Recklinghausen, Germany for the play "Gross und Klein" starring Academy Award winner Cate Blanchett. We went to see the play and waited (for hours) at the stagedoor. The play itself was shit, so we were hoping for a nice Cate at the stagedoor. When Cate came out, she didn't want to pose for pictures, which was not a big surprise considering she is not really friendly with fans. She was happy to sign she added. While we were there with only five people it was still a struggle to get her, but luckily I was able to get her last autograph of the day. She finished my "Indiana Jones 4" poster, but left Rene emptyhanded...

Belinda McClory, best known of her role as "Switch" in the "The Matrix" was very happy to pose for a picture, which was very nice.

Fedcon 2012

This year I went together with Rene to Fedcon Dusseldorf. This German convention is being held once a year and they mainly have some Sci-Fi guests. This yeas was not different from other years. But as usual it as a challenge to get everything done in one day... unfortunately. After Rene waited in line for 2 (!) hours we could finally begin.

Casper van Dien (Starship Troopers, Sleepy Hollow) signed my poster of Sleepy Hollow. Before he started the autograph session he walked through the dealerroom where I was able to get a picture with him. Unfortunately for Rene he was still queing at the moment.

Matthew Bennet (Battlestar Galactica) was a new guest for my Battlestar Galactica collection. He added his autograph on my Battlestar Galactica poster and posed for a picture due to a lacking photoshoot.

I met Jenette Goldstein (Aliens, Near Dark) just after my Alien incident with Carrie Henn. Jenette, unlike Carrie Henn, didn't mind posing for a photo at all. Many thanks for that!

Ricco Ross (Aliens, Wishmaster) also didn't have a problem with posing for pictures. Unfortunately for Rene his assistant DID have a problem with it and he was stopped doing one with Rene.
After Rene's incident with Jonathan Frakes and the Matthew Bennet incident Rene had with Lee we drove back home...

The European premiere of Tim Burton's new movie "Dark Shadows" was being held in London. Enough reason for me to travel to London and try to meet the cast and Johnny Depp in particular. After I waited for almost twelve hours the cast and crew arrived at Leicester Square to promote the film and I was able to meet the follwing people;

Johnny Depp is perhaps the biggest moviestar at the moment and definateley my favourite actor. So you can imagine I was very happy that I was one of the few people at the square who was able to obtain a picture with him! Oh Yes, he also signed my poster of "Sleepy Hollow" :-)
Johnny Lee Miller is mostly known for his parts in "Trainspotting" and "Hackers". He signed my poster of "Dark Shadows" and posed for a photo.
 Chloe Grace Moretz is mostly known for her parts in "Kick-Ass" and "Hugo". She signed my poster of "Dark Shadows" and posed for a photo.

Celebrities @ Claridge's Hotel

Like almost every trip in London, this time I was also able to meet some celebrities at their hotels. This time it was Claridge's Hotel in central London. Here I was able to meet the following people;

Guy Ritchie is known as the director of films like "Sherlock Holmes", "Rock'N Rolla" and "Snatch". When he left the hotel, he signed my poster of "Snatch" and posed for a photo.

Jackie Earle Haley is mostly known for his parts in "Watchmen" and the remake of"A Nightmare On Elm Street". When he left the hotel he signed my poster of "Human Target", the Blu Ray cover of "Watchmen"and the DVD-cover of "A Nightmare On Elm Street". The friendly actor was also willing to pose for a picture.

Gulliver McGrath is mostly known for his part in "Dark Shadows", but maybe when the movie makes some serious money, the young actor gets more decent parts. When he left his hotel he posed for a photo with me.
Also Tim Burton signed my poster of "Dark Shadows" and Helena Bonham Carter signed my Filmcell of "Charlie & The Chocolate Factory" and the DVD-cover of "Planet Of The Apes".

David Schwimmer Makes "Dry Ice"

David Schwimmer is best known for his part as Ross in the longrunning comedyshow Friends. He was in London because a play he helped develope started this week. When he came out of the theatre he agreed to pose for a picture.
